Yamaha's first golf cart was the G1. It was developed in 1979 and was the first 2 stroke cart to have and oil bump and electric start. The G1 is still a solid cart to this day. Next came the G2 that was the first golf cart to come out with a over head valve motor and also first cart to introduce injected mold body front and back body.
